My name is Sean Babinec and I am a landscape photographer formally based in Washington State and who currently resides in northern Virginia. I have always had a passion for outdoor activities and enjoys climbing, hiking, and backpacking. A few years ago, when I had gotten into alpine climbing in Washington state, I had a desire to document my trips and to capture the natural beauty of the Cascade Mountains. Eventually I picked up a point and shoot camera, and later upgraded to a mirrorless camera. I found that I wanted not only to document my trips, but that I also enjoyed the process of taking pictures and trying to improve my photographic skills.
I hope that you enjoy the images on this site and that they convey at least something of the wonder and curiosity I have for the natural world. I enjoy being creative and giving interesting perspectives and capturing unique scenes.
